even though the person callign them bm is using mass hacks dry

I'm sure the tournament will be fine without a few skills being available (it really isn't enough to hinder someone's performance in my opinion).
And gaming skill, as in knowing that particular characters weaknesses (e.g. certain characters do not earn as many hitpoints for the amount of stat points they invest into the vitality statistic), and knowing how to run so that you can gain an edge in someway. It's only fun if you want to have fun.
