Making application not visible in the dock?

I can't really seem to get either NSUIElement or LSUIElement to work, application bounces in dock for a split second. Any toughts? For those who doesn't have a remote idea of what Im talking about, probably shouldn't bother.

alot of stupid macintosh apps are like that....
they are really badly designed if you ask me...

usually thats what happens when the apps isn't working properly... what i think is that they should at least give you a stupid error message...

thats why i hate mac sometimes.. >:

This except if you give it a minute it may go. if it doesnt go then its a bum app. read the readme of the app and see if there isnt something special you needed to do. Not to mention (and im positive you already know) the apps are drag and drop onto applications. Maybe try a reinstall and see if it works. I had the same problem with a couple different things off of apples website.

Lol, NSUIElement and LSUIElement are two very similar key strings in the applications property list. When either is added and string is set to 1, the application is suposed to be running like normal but not showing up in dock or the task switcher. Also, I heard about code signing, whatever that bullshit is, but supposedly the system detects "not intended" change in the code, or in my case the info.plist.

Edit: I got it working I just added it incorectly lol.
