Linux is great, the distributiions usually aren't. And when you speak of "limiting", that is probably because you don't know how to use it. No offence.
I use Ubuntu 10.04, but I'm thinking of switching to a KDE based GUI. _____________________

no... i know how to use everything in linux perfectly fine...
believe it or not i coded everything that can be coded... and its still very limiting...
a huge problem with linux is its compatibility issues...
you can't even play starctaft on b-net...
personally i find linux to be completely useless...
since its not good for anything at all...
it's only fun to play with _____________________

You're right on the gaming part, although with clever (ab)usage of Wine, a lot can be achieved.
Anyway, Ubuntu is not meant for gaming. It's mainly very handy as a stable development environment, which Windows is not.
By the way, are you talking about Linux, or about a specific Linux distribution? I'm sure Linux itself barely has any limits, although some systems, like Ubuntu, do. _____________________
