If you mean that we are a highly productive agricultural and business society with little to no self control i agree. if your simply stating that all americans are fat... your making a mistake, there are a large percentage. but yet again. Its more of a personal and parental flaw with which the media and the moral standards only exasperate. You see a smoker smoking a cigarette inside a store. The stores rules say your not allowed to smoke. You (who hates cigarettes) chastise the smoker as you enter the building. But we are not allowed to tell fatty to put down the cupcake.

Speak up, the issue wont go away unless the people feel like they are doing wrong or being outcast because of their terrible self control.

Back to your statement and question.

http://www.expatify.com/news/the-worlds-top-10-fattest-countries.html

considering there is less than a 10% difference between USA and many other european nations i do believe i reserve the right to tell you to stfu fatty and go eat another scone. or shut up un fatty and go drink another stein and have a bratwurst.

or is it the fact that your countries are too retarded to do research before spewing stupidity smile

I personally do not enjoy what the us has become, i love the land itself. not the people on it. I enjoy all european cultures and architecture. But, i will not stand idly by while you bash on my nation. So in a final and closing word.

suck it biznitch, we created the atomic bomb that destroyed thousands of people and destroyed the land and environment where it was tested and used. We created the destruction of mankind. how do you like us now! lmao.

Dont mean to offend mi amigos, just saw a chance to rant XD

It's a really serious problem of America I think smile In Poland, I dont think hospitals have any special beds for obesity people ; p

In my opinion the reason of this problem is that American food is really unhealthy. Coca Cola for example has 33% of pure sugar!

The real problem is USA's culture. We live in a fast paced society surrounded by technology. Kids and youth would rather spend more time behind a computer or tv than out doing something else, and they have become addicted to "fast food" and soda, part in fault of which is the American food industry itself. It is designed for people to overeat and purchase food and become overweight.

For those of you that are not American, it costs MORE in the US to eat healthy. IE buying whole grain bread, organic vegetables, juice not from concentrate, and foods in general without HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP cost twice or three times as much as the regular brand in stores. So, unless you are well off, you are going to be eating less healthy to begin with.

Next, the use of high fructose corn syrup in almost ALL of our foods presents a huge problem. The food industry is too cheap to use real sugar, because most of our cane sugar needs to be imported and is far too expensive. So how do we turn a profit? We use a corn by-product sweetener. The PROBLEM with this, however, is that high fructose corn syrup suppresses the appetite and prevents the brain from sending the signal "Hey dumbass, you're full, stop eating," so we tend to eat more when consuming these products.

All in all, I will agree with you that Americans as a whole are fat and lazy. When I look around and 8 out of 10 people of average age are overweight, I just feel disgusted. Now I will admit, I don't eat particularly healthy ALL the time, but I augment my diet with 3 hours of mixed martial arts training 4 days a week, and 1.5 hours on Saturday. Sometimes I run, but not often.

I do the best I can, and stay in reasonable shape. I have a few extra pounds, but I have perfect cholesterol levels and blood pressure. And like I said, I do high intensity workouts many times a week. To get someone to go walk for 20 minutes takes a miracle this day in age.

Comments? Criticisms?
