They didn't do any patching at all this reset. Mainly they did it to get a little interest for Blizzcon honestly. They also posted implying that D2 ladders were most likely going to be 6 months from now on as well. Nothing confirmed, but that is what bashiok posted.

Same here! I'll play the ladder reset and make gozu forum gold lol
never cared about it, but now i finally understand its value.. i mean, 1-2k for the first runes..?! just imagine if you were one of those lucky ass people finding ladders first hr lmao

High runes are not the only thing that goes for a lot of forum gold. I'm not exactly sure how it is on softcore, but I know for the first few weeks that Shakos, Stormshields, Tgods, etc are worth hundreds if not thousands for the first couple found.
The price usually drops to around 700 or 800 after the first week for certain items such as those, and then tgods is the first of those two to drop dramatically.
That's how I always make my fortune early, anyway. |
