So I was some time inactive, came back and just looked around
I looked in the Scammerforum and found this thread:

Shortstory of this thread: Avid claims that he never scammed me, calling me "a raging kid", wants my reputation ("Be careful Avid scammed for 1k FG") removed.
Yes he scammed me. 3-6 months ago. I reported it, but nothing happend (Not the mods fault. My proofs weren´t really good as I didn´t take much screenshots, because Avid seemed like somebody who wouldn´t scam for 1k fg)
So at least I could give him a bad repuation, warning other users of this user.
Well guess what happend: care_police removes this reputation. Without asking for proofs. Without asking me what happens. Without asking me for proofs. Without anything
So: You can scam here, wait 2-3 months, create a thread and claim that all bad reputations are lies.
They will be removed and if the you find a good offer -) Scam again
I guess you should think about removing this feature of the seniormods if they are not really review the case

Could be a both side problem too.
I mean, if im mad at you and give you a bad rep, there's no way I would ever change it back, right?
I think its good the way it is now.

That´s a main problem of this whole reputation-system
But the rep system has some good points: Warning other users if someone scams.
If you remove reps for no reasons at all, this point of advantage is useless
-) Makes the whole reputation system useless
So either remove the whole system or
Remove reps only for extremly good reasons (if needed with proofs) or
Do not remove reputations for any reason |

did u thought about the option that people call randomly user scammer??
if i see that someone have a bad rep, where somebody call him scammer and there is no proof, the guy never got locked or tagged , tell me why not???
when the other part ( in this case u ) is inactiv how to find out what rlly happend???
better u use ur brain before u make a topic, maybe a pm is easier to fix things like this.
e: when this happen to u like in the past u dont have probs with it or?

This does not happen very often usually. Also it´s a case that I mentioned before. You, as moderators, can check: trade threads, pms and stuff like that to see if someone really scammed or if he is just accused to be a scammer. If you can´t be sure. Leave the reputation there. This is what the repuation system is made for. Telling other people what you think about a person. In scammingcases it´s usefull to warn other people. If you remove "bad" reps without any reason, without any review, warnings are impossible.

I agree with you if: This person who accuses him is a new user. I agree with you if there are no tradethreads, no pms between both persons, if the accuser doesn´t post any proofs after you pmed him, if you reviewed the whole case and there are really no proofs at all. But that was not the case here
I gave him the reputation when I was very well known for being one of the most trusted guys in the tradeforums. There were lot of pms between me and Avid. I made a scammerthread at this time, when he scammed me (You should be able to find it with google/boardreader/boardsearch)

You have several options:
1. You just can believe me, because I am trusted. I understand that this might not be enough
2. You can check my pms (I know for some facts that mods can check pms)
3. You can use google/boardreader/forumsearch to find my accusethread
4. Avid had several reps, calling him a scammer. That should be suspicious in your eyes, isn´t it?
5. You could ask several people in the german subforum for my icq/aim/skype (I understand that this is too much work, if you will do it for all cases - I just list it because you pretend that you did everything you could do)

First. As moderator you should not be offending. Specially not as I am very polite to you.
I pmed you, but I guess that this is not a single case. So a discussion between us in pms won´t solve the whole case. So it makes more sense to make a thread about it.

You have several options:

I know all this stuff and it´s what I did in this case
The only point I learned is that it´s kind of easy to scam here without any problems - just wait 2-3 months and your bad rep will be removed

Will save this thread and as soon as Avid (Halo) scams again I will post this thread and will be like "I told you so"
