Clearly I don't 
I do love tornadoes because they're extraordinary masses of destruction, chaos and everything in between. Meteorology intrigues me, there's nothing wrong with that.

being interested in tornadoes is not uncommon and quite normal. they're fascinating and nobody will argue against that.
being in love with an event that causes mass destruction as you put it and tears 4month old babies out of the arms of mother is a different story. |

I'm not directly interested in the amount of chaos/destruction they cause. I'm more intrigued at how they form/surge/etc to become that mass of destruction.
There's nothing amusing with people dying and homes getting destroyed, as each time a natural disaster occurs, my job is directly related to supporting the relief efforts.
So no, I don't find them extraordinary because of the damage/heartache they cause. |
