RESEARCH COMPLETED:

Determining the Effects of Mediation on the Attentional Blink (2010)
It has been recently found when two visual stimuli are shown right after another, the second stimulus is often missed. This is known as the attentional blink. Preliminary data also suggests mediation has a role in positive emotion, so I helped design and complete an experiment to determine if a correlation exists.

Developed an Online Database that showed "Complex" Characteristics (2009)
As part of a class taken at Carroll University, a supplemental database was created. I helped perform an advanced statistical analysis on the database that eventually showed characteristics similar to those associated with complexity/chaos theory.

Differentiated a Mutant Strain of Algae (2009)
Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is a unicellular plant eukaryote that has been thoroughly observed for the past decade. A mutant of this species was recently created and I observed the two specimens undergoing mitosis, noting differences regarding the timing of cytokinetic events.

Presentation at the Beta Beta Beta National Conference (May, 2010)
• An annual conference taking place in Durango, Colorado, May 2010
• Created a poster to be presented data regarding Chlamydomonas
• Won 2nd Place

• An annual conference that was held at Marquette University, July 2009
• Created a poster and communicated the data found in the online database
