I tried downloading a few different ones. Closest I got was d2nt and I went to open it and it opened a bunch of words in text edit sleep

there is no mh as far as i know for mac.

but if you really want to play diablo II with MH just install a virtual machine on your comp ( windows )
and use it to play diablo II ...

buy a pc >
and btw when using d2nt you dont open the maphack in the console bottom right instead of loader or ntbot switch to ntmap,
then start d2=WIN

Download a virtualisation software
Virtualbox (free) or Vmware (paid) are popular. I like Vmware more because I can virtualize my bootcamp partition.
Install Diablo 2 in that virtual machine.
Download the hacks you want.
Make sure to run both D2 and the hack as administrator.
