The purpose of a "verified" group in general is to promote safety which in this case is merely false security, shitty idea that will fail and turn out to fuck more people than help them. |

yep. I decided not to get verified. This so retarded it beggars belief. They broke their own rules rofl. Regular users have to wait a month and need to meet certain criteria and jewgallettes bro or whatever gets verified almost overnight. Even if he bcreated that account 10 days ago, it still doesn't matter.
In the eyes of other users verified member status has lost any value it might have had. retarded as fuck.

It's to promote safety, by verifying you are not a multi you prove you are not some rand scammer running around scamming people. Maybe if you weren't so ignorant and could actually read and comprehend more than 2 words in 30 minutes you would understand how it is effective. |

Verified tag will never increase safety. All it will do is add false security to new users. It's very easy for scammers to fake personal info + picture and a phonecall (by using a friend or whatever).
You can never know the person is who he/she claims to be. Only way to be certain is by using webcam and ask the person to give out a lot of personal info like id cards etc.
If moderators start giving out verified tags without receiving any info or demand any previous activity on the website the tag loses all value imo.
Besides, users are already stupid enough to trade with locked/scammertagged people so I don't see the need to be verified at all.
Increase safety and reduce the number of multis requires other measures. |
